With a Securus monitored security system in your home, you will have peace of mind knowing that if your 24/7 alarm system is activated, our Monitoring Centre will respond immediately using Police licensed operators trained to take appropriate action.

In addition to alarm activations, your home monitored security system will automatically notify our 24/7 Monitoring Centre if one of the following occurs (even if the alarm system is not armed):

  • A smoke alarm connected to your security system is triggered
  • There is a mains power failure or your mains power is turned off
  • The back up battery in your alarm is low
  • The alarm system is being tampered with
  • The alarm system fails a self diagnostic check

Our Evolve/4G solution enables redundancy across multiple levels for our Monitoring Centre to instantaneously divert communication in the event of interruption or failure.

Home security monitoring

Since the introduction of the NBN all monitoring communication is now provided over the Telstra 4G mobile network.

This allows your alarm system to operate independently of the Internet and will continue operation in the event of power being lost to your home.
